2009 to present - Best Buy Canada, Vancouver BC / Sr. Production Designer - Team Lead
Throughout my experience at Best Buy I have gained generous experience in brand management. Being a team lead of 12 production artists has strengthened my abilities to delegate and prioritize in order to maintain process efficiences. As Sr. Production Designer - Team Lead I have had the opportunity to showcase my skills in brand identity and art direction across various platforms both print and digital. Currently I provide art direction on weekly flyers, internal magazines, store signage as well as various internal and store level marketing initiatives.
2007 to 2009 - Donovan Creative Communications, Edmonton AB / Graphic Designer
My position at DCC began as a production designer and quickly moved to graphic designer. The agency environment allowed me to explore the various facets of client work. Including everything from client relations to pre-press. As well I took an integral part in the rebranding of Edmonton International Airport, which won various awards.
2006 to 2007 - Commercial Solutions Inc., Edmonton AB / Senior Graphic Designer
My role at CSI quickly evolved from a graphic design to a senior design position. I was responsible for all art direction in marketing. I led two designers and brought internal and client facing collateral to a new and improved level. In the first six months I came mid-way into the production of a 600-page catalogue. Despite tight deadlines I directed the team and
produced a profitable sales piece for the organization.
